It started with the spirit of adventure.
When I was little, I used to love finding postcards from exotic destinations at the thrift store and creating stories to go with them. This sparked my love for exploring the world and nature, even if only through my imagination.
Growing up, my curiosity and love for nature led me to explore the world in person, eventually becoming an author, artist, and zoologist. I love mixing art, science, and storytelling for young readers!

Every letter from Wild Wonder Mailâ˘ď¸ is meticulously researched and created with the expertise of a scientist, the imagination of an author, and the vision of an artist. It's a labour of love that lets me meld my three loves -- nature, writing, and art -- into one, for others to enjoy.
Through our fictional Ellie Everett (our explorer extraordinaire!), you get to travel the world and discover wild wonders like unique animals, incredible destinations, and lifechanging sites -- no plane tickets required.

Ellie is the fictional explorer and author of your monthly Wild Wonder Letters. She's inspired by several daring women of adventurous history, including Jane Goodall, Amelia Earhart, Harriet Adams, & Rachel Carson.Â
